Our Beliefs
We are a Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod Church. In short, we are followers of the Lord Jesus Christ. Our beliefs are succinctly summarized in the Three Ecumenical Creeds and our Lutheran confessions known as the Book of Concord. The creeds and confessions are explanations of how we understand & interpret God's Word, the Holy Scriptures.

The creeds and confessions are explanations of how we understand & interpret God's Word, the Holy Scriptures. We believe there is no other way to know the ultimate meaning of life except through God's gracious revelation of HIs plan in Jesus the Christ alone. God desires all people to know Him and to ultimately live with Him forever. God's world has been broken by the sin of mankind. Nevertheless, God has provided the means for all people to be re-created at the resurrection of all mankind which will happen on the Last Day when Christ Jesus returns to the earth. On that day God will judge the world through Christ Jesus. But all who trust in Christ's sacrifice for them will be saved. And every person that would but look to Him will live forever in God's New World, the new heavens & the new earth. God's entire creation will be restored. In this life, God calls the Church (all those who believe) to join in His work of re-creating and restoring this broken world. We seek to love God above all else and to love our neighbors as ourselves. It is only through faith, the gift of the Holy Spirit, that a person begins to see God, to know God, to love Him and to trust Him. Life leaves us with many questions and fears and doubts, but through faith and by God's Word, the Holy Spirit speaks to us of an everlasting hope that will not disappoint!
